Accessibility
Last updated July 29, 2026
We want ClosePack to be usable by everyone in finance, however they work. Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought.
Our standard
We build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. That covers things like sufficient color contrast, keyboard access, meaningful structure, and text alternatives.
How we hold the line
Every page on this site, including every article, is checked with automated accessibility tests in both the light and dark themes. The checks run on every change we make to the site, and the list of pages they cover is generated from the site itself rather than kept by hand, so a new page cannot slip past them.
We also honor your system setting for reduced motion: if you prefer less animation, the site presents its content without the scroll effects.
Known limits
Automated testing catches a great deal but not everything. We continue to review the site with real assistive technology and welcome specifics on anything that gets in your way.
One part of the home page is not ours to hold to this standard: the teaser is played by YouTube’s own embedded player, whose markup we do not write and cannot fix. Our automated checks report faults inside it that we have no way to correct. Nothing of that player loads unless you press play, and everything around it is covered above.
Tell us
If you hit an accessibility barrier, email hello@closepack.io with the page and what happened, and we will fix it.
